The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed with regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to status sassa reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The service position established for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
